Will this RAM work with my Mobo?

Hi, will Crucial Ballistix 2x8GB 3600 CL16 (BL2K8G36C16U4B) work with MSI B460I GAMING EDGE WIFI? I'm aware I won't be able to run them at full speed so I want to downclock it and tighten the timings, but they're not listed in the mobo compatibility list, that's why I'm unsure. My guess is they will work but just want to know more opinions :P

Yeah it will work, but I'd probably just get a Z490/B560 to start with.

Or just get cheaper RAM.

I'm going with an i5 10400F and I don't want to overspend on a mobo, and the only other ITX mobo in my budget would be ASRock B560M-ITX/ac which doesn't seem too good, has 1 less usb port (I'm using 4/5 rn so it wouldn't have any left besides the front panel ones), has wifi 5 (msi has 6 + there were some major problems with the wifi adapter on ASRock B460M-ITX/ac which has a similar if not the same adapter and I need wifi). I know it would unlock the ram but idk if it's worth the price, because I would most likely be required to buy an external wifi adapter and probably a usb hub.

Just get a cheaper 2666 or 3200 kit instead then, unless the 3600bkit is same price.

The Ballistix I chose is 15 bucks more expensive than ADATA XPG Gammix D10 3200 CL16, but I've heard that those Crucials are on E-Die which is pretty good for overclocking so I guess it will work fine for underclocking and tightening the timings. Idk though if it's worth the $15 price difference

timings at that speed on on Intel won't really make or break your performance

if your budget is that tight i'd allocate it somewhere else
