Hi,

So Asus fixed my motherboard, presumably, but they aren't nice enough to send back everything I sent them. Not cool Asus.

So now I'm stuck with a motherboard without hardware, so I can't really mount it in the case and the hardware to mount my cpu heatsink-cooler-pump-thingy is missing aswell and this seems hard to find. I have looked online but I can barely seem to find anything at all.

MB: Asus TUF X299 mk1

Cooler: Castle 360RGB V2

Case: Corsair 780T

Can anybody help me to find the correct mounting screws?

I assume you mean your AIO CPU backplate is missing, if thats the case email deepcool and ask if they can help you out. Never send your motherboard back to manufacturer with anything more than it came with.

To be honest, I'm not sure what's missing. Right now I have the AIO cooler with brackets attached to it and the motherboard with just the cpu socket that has 4 tapped holes. I'll email deepcool, thanks! I'm also missing hardware to mount the motherboard into the case, does this come with the case? + I forgot to take it off which is my fault, but they also didn't send back parts that came with the motherboard itself like the metal plate that clicks in place at the back of your pc where all the ports are for example and all the original packaging and manuals which I think is kinda lame.

try emailing them and ask to send you your stuff back, how rude from them i cant beleave!

if you read the fine print of any RMA process of any company, it'll state somewhere that it's your responsability to only send them exactly what needs to be RMA'd. it is absolutely impossible to process RMA's that are covered in customer's belongings in any sort of efficient manner without losing anything.

there used to be a time when RMA'ing a laptop came with the express request to remove the battery before shipping it out.

essentially the rule has always been this: anything that's user removable should come off, because all that leaving it on will do is have a chance for it to get lost.

i've never had a bad RMA experience in my life, primarily because i make sure to do *my* part of the deal as best as i can, and when you do that the other side will have all their resources available to do *their* part of the deal as best as they can.

if you expect motherboard manufacturers to keep track of what people did or did not leave on their motherboard before shipping it out.. expect motherboards to become a LOT more expensive to cover for that workload...

I understand all of this but I argue that the instructions really weren't clear (I suspect that translation had something to do with this). Anyway, too late for it now 😕
