Basically just different coolers, all comes down to aesthetic preference.

Ram doesn’t even need a Heatsink until above around 4600mhz depending on voltage before it gets uncomfortably hot

Just pick whatever looks cool

what looks cooler?

The Royals are great if you're into RGB, nice-n-bright colors thats easily seen.
They perform well too.

I own two 3200 C14 kits, and my Royals are definitely a better bin then my Black and Whites.

A good set of PC3600's (CL16 - B die) are good too - Have three sets of those (Black and Whites) and they can hit over PC4000 with stock timings, volted up a bit of course but they'll do it.
I do have a couple sets of PC3200 Flares (CL14) that does well too.

My Black and Whites are good, they just need a little more voltage than my Royals. And my Royals are a little more willing to do everything just a little better. But I honestly don't mind because they run good enough for me. Just a few months ago I had a mixed DDR3 G.Skill kit on a 3770K 😄

Also my Royals cost more than my motherboard by about 50 bucks during Black Friday.. give or take a few.. those Black and Whites were like 40 bucks cheaper than my motherboard.. give or take a few. So quite a large difference..

But! my Royals are a heck of a lot of fun to play with.. they do things my Black and Whites just cant.

But if you aren't into chasing numbers at all go with the cheapest..
