Turn down render distance.

I have loaded into a game now and at 48 render distance im getting around 250-300 fps, must have been the hypixel lobby

I have recently built a new pc with a 5600x, 6700 xt and 16gb ram. I can play games like rdr2 at ultra settings and get 80+ fps but when I try to play minecraft on optifine I get around 60-90 fps.

All input apprecitated.

Settings:

JVM ARGUMENT:

-Xmx2G -XX:+UnlockExperimentalVMOptions -XX:+UseG1GC -XX:G1NewSizePercent=20 -XX:G1ReservePercent=20 -XX:MaxGCPauseMillis=50 -XX:G1HeapRegionSize=32M

Set it to 8GB of RAM, so the JVM argument is:

Quote

-Xmx8G -XX:+UnlockExperimentalVMOptions -XX:+UseG1GC -XX:G1NewSizePercent=20 -XX:G1ReservePercent=20 -XX:MaxGCPauseMillis=50 -XX:G1HeapRegionSize=32M

That's what solved it for me (never mind the fact that my monitor runs at 77 Hz, I like seeing the big numbers!)

PLEASE STOP [Killing] ME I WILL GIVE Y OU ANOTHER DEAL.
