I just "finished" up a build and by finished up a build what I actually mean is I have a great frame work for a mid range PC. Destiny 2 is amongst my frequented games and with some graphics card overclocking, I can float between 50 and 60 fps on max settings. (R3 3100, 16GB DDR4 2666, B550-F ROG STRIX, bottlenecked at a GTX 1050 Ti)

It's not to say I wouldnt love a 30 series, but after the initial impressions of the card, I had come to the conclusion that a 20-series Super was perfect for me BEFORE the shortage.

Well, in terms of availability, I can't even afford the card I already have.in the build.

Is there any way to, say preorder a 2060 Super or a standard 2080? I would pay in advance and in full to know I was getting a 20 series at MSRP. Suggestions?

Happy to help.

What Zongohihello said, they're not going to waste fabrication time on the 2000 series unfortunately.

I'm an IT System Admin with 15+ years worth of XP, plus I've been tinkering computers since I was old enough to hold a screwdriver, so I usually know what I'm talking about.
