Just installed the new driver for my rtx 3070 and entered rdr2, at loading screen I recieved my first bsod with the error "video scheduler internal error".

I entered again the game and everything worked fine, played for 2 hours without any issue.

What could have caused the bsod?

I have everything stock without oc, windows is fully updated.

is the error reocurring ? if yes, then try to reinstall the drivers.

if no, then dont worry, it might have been that the driver wasnt loaded correctly, in any case Id suggest to reinstall the driver 🙂

Had same experience. Happened just once the day after I installed the GPU. Googled it and recommended reseating the GPU. Did so & seemed fine for a while, then came back to find PC had restarted on its own and showing that error. Then 2 more errors throughout the day. Was on a video conf call an hour ago, had a million artifacts suddenly checkerboard my screen, then it restarted. Tried restarting several times, occasionally will get graphics to load at 720p but mostly just black screen like its not posting and 3070 fans never spin up. But Windows does load about half the time (1440p display still connected to 3070, but fans don’t spin, and screen resolution is at 1024x768 64hz using “Microsoft basic display driver”). If I disconnect 3070 & change display to onboard graphics, works fine, so doesnt seem to be a windows issue. Updated BIOS on MB and no change. Reinstalled drivers and still no help. When I installed card I updated newest BIOS which supports resizable BAR, but my card/chip don't support that, so wondering if there's a conflict? ASUS doesn't have a way to install previous BIOS that I can find. (everything working perfectly with 1070Ti just a week ago and didnt change any other components/software) Only other thing I can think is my PCIe slot is bad? Unfortunately dont have the 1070 to throw back in it to test
