Your profile says the CPU you are using is literaly a core 2 quad, so maybe upgrade to a modern 6-8 core before you burn $500?

Well my core 2 quad runs very well but you do make a good point I'm gonna stick to the core 2 quad for now I am actually thinking of installing linux on my old ps4 and using it as a gaming rig I could add an ssd and y'know u would have a decent rig

2007 .. can I suggest GT 8600 for GPU, Gigabyte made a 256mb passive cooled one that was just plain horrible (especially with the great airflow cases of that era). If you can find one it should be as horrible as it gets.

Thanks for the suggestion that is a good idea if I combine all the wanna be components of the time I could end up with a decent pc or a crap pc that overheats in 10 mins (pentium is like heaters for poor ppl now unless you get pentium gold it is decent)ps I'm gonna have the old pe ntium in it
