RAM Speed on laptop

Hi,

I recently was looking around on hardware info and had noticed something. I noticed that the clock speed per 8 gb module is only 1333Mhz. The 2666Mhz clock speed that task manger is getting seems to be just 1333Mhz * number of RAM modules (which is just 2 in this laptop). The laptop I have is a DELL G3, and the specs are shown in the screen shot attached. Is this normal for laptops? I know that in desktops the RAM speed is normally just what ever the module is rated for, not the number of modules times the speed of the modules, unless I've completely misunderstood the way that RAM modules work in a computer. Also, is there any way that I can over clock the clock speed of the RAM, there's no way for me to do it in the BIOS.

Thanks.

1333mhz is shown because ram is DDR (double-data-rate). The frequency is the number in task manager that most people use.

1333x2 = 2666.
