174 for Ryzen 1600? that's too much i think. That cpu only worth $120 on the used market.

Better buy a Intel 10400 / 11400.

Get a used gpu, 1030 is not that great, get at least 1050 or RX560 or better.

Ryzen 5700g @ 4.4ghz all cores | Asrock B550M Steel Legend | 3060 | 2x 16gb Micron E 2666 @ 4200mhz cl16 | 500gb WD SN750 | 12 TB HDD | Deepcool Gammax 400 w/ 2 delta 4000rpm push pull | Antec Neo Eco Zen 500w

That CPU is overpriced. I also wouldn't spend that much on a case. It's almost 1/6 of your budget but adds nothing to performance. Also, please don't buy a gt 1030 for $150. You could go Intel and use integrated graphics until the GPU situation is better. For all of the games listed, with the exception of Fortnite and maybe CSGO, you'll be able to run them at least 60fps at 1080p, and then once the situation is better, a used rx 570 or 580 would be perfect to add.

The more I learn, the more I realise I don't actually know anything.

Recommendations: Lian Li 205m (sleek, pretty decent airflow for a non-mesh front panel and cheap), i5-10400f (Ryzen 5 3600 performance, 20% cheaper), Arctic P14 PWM fans, Logitech g305.

Yeah right now prices are like double what they should be. If you can manage to wait a few months then you'll save a bunch of money on the GPU/get a better performing GPU for the same amount.
