Don't order from crucial you can find cheap brands just as good on amazon...      Intel is cheaper and doesn't get as hot as AMD (I like and but am currently using intel bc the price) and you can probably find a cheaper mother board that Is just as good also with spending less you can get a cheaper gpu I would say get an i5 processor I still have a core two quad that runs really good and have as my secondary pc

3080 is overkill for 1080p, especially with a 3700X. It's going to be bottlenecked by the CPU, so you're just leaving performance on the table. Either get a least a 1440p monitor or 3060/3070 instead.

CPU: AMD Ryzen 9 9950X3D · Cooler: Noctua NH-D15S Chromax.black · Motherboard: Gigabyte Auros X670 Elite AX · RAM: G.Skill Flare X5 64GB (2 x 32GB) DDR5 6000MHz CL30 · Graphics Card: Zotac NVIDIA GeForce RTX 4070 Super Twin Edge OC 12GB · Boot Drive: 1TB XPG Gammix S70 Blade NVMe SSD · Game Drive: 2TB WD SN850X NVMe SSD · PSU: Seasonic Focus GX V3 1000W 80+ Gold · Case: Fractal Design North Mesh · Monitor: MSI Optix MAG342CQR 34” UWQHD 3440x1440 144Hz · Keyboard: EPOMAKER x Aula F99 Wireless Mechanical Keyboard · Mouse: Logitech G309 Lightspeed Wireless Gaming Mouse

1) You don't need to buy seperate thermal pasteZ
2) If you don't have a graphics card to use for now you should just go with a 10700
3)I would get this power supply https://www.amazon.com/Corsair-Bronze-Certified-Modular-Supply/dp/B00ALK3KEM/ref=asc_df_B00ALK3KEM/?tag=hyprod-20&linkCode=df0&hvadid=312780390407&hvpos=&hvnetw=g&hvrand=4402197533215170618&hvpone=&hvptwo=&hvqmt=&hvdev=c&hvdvcmdl=&hvlocint=&hvlocphy=9003432&hvtargid=pla-404766791519&psc=1 I know it is not as high of wattage, but it's plenty and is from a reputable brand.

4) If 5600x comes to MSRP you should buy it since you need pretty good single core perfomance to drive 240hz
5) Drop the graphics card down to a 3060ti or get a 1440p 240hz monitor (which are definitely not cheap https://pcpartpicker.com/product/Ltxbt6/acer-xv272u-xbmiipruzx-270-2560x1440-240-hz-monitor-umhx2aax03)

Intel doesn't get as hot as AMD? What planet are you living on?

Ryzen is better for over locking though but I was temporarily playing fortnite on celeron so you should be good with an i5 or i3 the official minecraft gaming laptop is running a stander pentium so for what you are doing you should be good with an i3 and a 1050 ti

You're bonkers. AMD runs much cooler than Intel.

Sorry, I'm not trying to pile on you here, but you keep spouting nonsense. Intel OCs far better than Ryzen, at least until 10th gen. They both are fairly mediocre at OC now.

Apparently not. Not sure what else to say here. You're just flat out wrong.
