I built my pc a couple months ago and it recently started saying, New CPU installed, FTPM NV corrupted or  FTPM NV structure changed.

I don't know what FTPM NV means so I just pressed N to continue with the previous FTPM records and it would boot up normally. The only thing I could find about it online was that I had to replace my motherboard battery, so I did but it still kept showing the new CPU thing.

For context this was my first time building a pc and I had been saving over a year for it, I have a  3700x with a Aorus b450 motherboard. I know that you have to update the bios to match these two but the website said it was compatible so I assumed it would work. Is there any way I could fix this issue without buying a new motherboard because then I would have to save up some more.

Btw the 3700x wasn't my first choice I wanted to go with a R5 3600 but got some extra money for my birthday 🙂.

Ps. Sorry if my spelling is incorrect I'm not a native speaker.
