Can I control RPM of 3x RGB Fans + 3x fan splitter + SATA power fan splitter through iCUE software?

Hi

I am a bit new here and I suppose this is the right place to ask this question. I have 3 Corsair SP120 fans, 1 tripple fan splitter, 1 SATA power spliter, a commander controller. 

 

Ideally, I can just use the tripple fan splitter + 3x RGB fans directly into the mobo and use voltage control, but the 0.9A really scares me.

However, I also have a SATA power splitter, therefore I am planning to do Mobo header ->  SATA power splitter -> tripple fan splitter -> 3x Fans. My question is: Doing this will cut off the voltage from the mobo and provide constant 12V to the fans instead from the PSU. Can the iCUE software be used to control speed through the iCUE software?
