I never knew that, especially because the one I got before was also not on the list.
That was the G.Skill Trident Z RGB F4-3600C16D-32GTZRC, but it seemed it was bad ram since it wouldn't run on the 3600Mhz speed.

Currently doubting between two kits.
G.Skill Trident Z RGB F4-3600C16Q-32GTZR & G.Skill Trident Z Neo F4-3600C16Q-32GTZN

But I probally will go for the first one since they have an b-die, and looks better because the gpu(3080 MSI Suprim-X) is also silver.
I want to thank you for your time and advice, helped alot thanks!

The experience from sk hynix to B-Die should be a very noticeable difference.

Hi,

I have been putting together a build since a week ago. Everything went well up to the first hour in Windows,
although I must indicate that this only happened after I turned on DOCP in the bios (this after I installed all updates and then drivers).
Since then I get BSODS or crash due to Memory_Management
HARDWARE

After reading dumps it was an A1 crash code each time with a different application.
Bios update to the most recent version 3603> stock memory speed> seemed stable> DOCP turned on> crash again within 2 hours.
Memtest86 ran> then immediately received the 25% error.

Then 1 bench removed> after 3 hours memtest86 no error messages, nice PASS on the screen.
restart to Windows and I get continuous crash> bios reset for safety and other memory slot (from A2 slot to B2 slot)> nada
2nd (presumably broken) memory bank put in A2 slot> no crash in the 6 hours I have no issues > Stock speeds memory and cpu

The last thing I did was swap all modded cables for the stock powercables of the PSU for the GPU + Mobo,
I will run memtest86 again in a minute. Do you have any advice or tips that I can try? Thanks alot in advance!

Try and enable XMP (DOCP), but manually set the DRAM frequency to 3200mt/s and test for stability.

I tried this just now, and it immediately crashed within windows.

Ok, well.... try setting 3200 without docp enabled and maybe it will play nice. This will let the board choose the timings.

I did that, but after an 10 mins i got an crash.. sometimes whenever i try to login.

I also tried with DOCP and changed the voltages a bit

DOCP 3200Mhz @ 1.36V = Crash
DOCP 3200Mhz @ 1.37V = Crash
DOCP 3200Mhz @ 1.38V = Crash
DOCP 3200Mhz @ 1.39V = Crash
DOCP 3200Mhz @ 1.40V = Crash

Also tried 3400Mhz and 3600mhz with the above voltages. Get both errors in Memtest86, and crashes in windows but as soon as it runs at stock speed I have no issues .. and even in memtest86 no errors (2x run) could it also be due to the Motherboard?

No it's the memory kit. The board and cpu just doesn't like it.

Thanks! Gonna send these back.. do you maby have an recommendation? Been looking at the qvl list but not sure which one to pick. Something with RGB would be nice since the whole build has something of it.

How bad do you need 32gb?

If 16gb will getcha by, then this kit is good.

Thank you so much for the recommendation! I would rather have 32GB since I edit and also do virtualization.

Is there an same variant of this kit? But then in 32GB 4x 8GB? I’m thinking of getting an 4 dimm kit, since that just looks better with rgb overall.

*bump*

I got the following kit's but some of them are on the QVL list and others are not, are these below any good?
G.Skill Trident Z RGB F4-3600C16Q-32GTZR
G.Skill Trident Z RGB F4-3200C16Q-32GTZRX

G.Skill Trident Z RGB F4-3600C18Q-32GTZN

XPG Spectrix D60G AX4U3200316G16-DT60
Will any of these work good with Ryzen 5900x and Asus Strix x570-E Gaming motherboard?

No problem at all!

Thanks for letting me know that's an good kit, especially because I don't see it on the QVL list for the motherboard Asus strix X570-E gaming and ryzen 5900x.

I always thought that those not on the list are potentially not working with the motherboard

That's just a misconception really.

The quality of the ICs on that ram is really good.

But I probally will go for the first one since they have an b-die, and looks better because the gpu(3080 MSI Suprim-X) is also silver.
I want to thank you for your time and advice, helped alot thanks!
