I'm new to the forum so I'm not sure if this is the right place to post this but I am looking to buy my first pc and am going for a mid range pc under $1500. I am completely ready to build one but am not against the idea of a pre built. Does anyone have and recommendations for where I can buy a pre-built or recommended parts to build my own.

i5-10400f + 3060ti prebuilt.

If you want to play games in 2021 and you don’t have a graphics card this is your best bet. Otherwise I could probably send a link to a pcpartpicker list without a GPU which might be faster but also might require waiting a year to finish.

@curiousmind34Thank You for the suggestion. As I said before I'm new to the forum and to PC gaming in general. Are there any risks to buying a prebuilt and having it shipped compared to just shipping individual parts and putting them together myself?

Not really. Manufactuers obviously invest into keeping their prebuilts safe in shipping so that they do not get hundreds of return orders. If there is any issue, it should be as easy as plugging in a loose cable or calling customer support (which you also get with a prebuilt)

Prebuilts generally do not have premium motherboards and power supplies as the number one priority there is to save money, not to be very upgradeable

Building a pc now can be a very hard thing to do . I sold my old pc in October last year and immediately started buying parts to build a new ( better one ) that wasn't finished ( functional more than finished ) till only a couple weeks ago . Gpus nowhere to be found or paying up to 300% msrp won't make it worth it .
