Hi guys!

I just built myself a gaming computer at the end of the year of 2020 and here are my parts. My dad wants to build his computer so he wants to take my CPU, Motherboard, Case, potentially ram too. Once he takes those parts I'm looking to upgrade my current build to a MicroATX build as I would like something a little smaller and look more compact as I move to university. It is also a good upgrade as I have a gen 3 board with a gen 4 graphics cards, hoping to get more performance out of my RTX 3070 (correct me if I'm wrong, I'm new at this haha) There's the new launch of the Intel 11th gen processors that released which are competing with AMD's 5000 series. I was looking at the 11700k, or the 5 5600X or 7 5800X as it's around my budget. Any suggestions as to which chip I should get? If so, are there any other upgrades I should do to my build?

i7 9700k

Asus Prime z390a

32GB Corsair Vengeance 3200mhz

EVGA RTX 3070

970 Evo Plus 500GB and 970 Evo Plus 1TB

Wouldn't I be able to just get a motherboard with Wi-Fi installed on it already? I can give my father the Wi-Fi card with it too probably. Is there anything bad with the new 11th gen chips from Intel?

11th gen i7s and i9s are just wastes of money. In some cases they are worse than their last gen counterparts

Think the best options are
-5600x
-5800x
-10850K

geometry is hard
b550 > x570

A large number of new boards have Wifi/Bluetooth built in. I would suggest going that route with an ITX board. Secondly, there's nothing inherently wrong with the 11th gen chips, but Ryzen (or even older Intel chips) are just a better value.
