Hello i have a problem with my dual monitor setup. I have a 24 inch monitor and a 40 inch tv (both 1080x1920p) but windows sees them as the same size. This happened to me while using a 21.5 inch monitor and the same 24 inch monitor. I don't think it's my gpu cause both my old HD 6850 and my new 1650 have this problem. So i think it might be because the monitors are old

Benq BL2410 (secondary monitor)

KDL-40R455B (main TV)

thanks for the help

What exactly is the problem here?

From Windows' perspective they are the same size because they have the same number of pixels. There's nothing you can do about this.

Thanks for reading all this by the way!

By the way, my desktop is a docked laptop. Get over it, No seriously, I have an exterrnal monitor, keyboard, mouse, headset, ethernet and cooling fans all connected. Using it feels no different to a desktop, it works for several hours if the power goes out, and disconnecting just a few cables gives me something I can take on the go. There's enough power for all games I play and it even copes with basic (and some not-so-basic) video editing. Give it a go - you might just love it.

the problem is that the wallpaper doesn't line up

I'm still not quite sure what you mean - it's very difficult to see that when you only provide a screenshot of one screen!

Can you take a screenshot or photo including both screens? I believe if you activate the snip tool with Win+Shift+S then you can drag across multiple monitors.
