Personally I'd go with the 11400 and ditch the HDD for a 1TB SSD.

I don't think that my friend would want the 11400. My other friend has it and he says its ok, and he would recommend the 5600X over the 11400. I would want to go 1TB for ssd, but like problem is that ssd do be expensive. Would you give me a ssd that is under 100 bucks then?

You can get something like a Crucial P1 for just over $100.

It's barely any different than the 5600x in most titles and almost half the price.

Yes true about the 105 bucks for 1Tb, but then my friend can't really hold that much storage then. That's kinda a problem, but I'll ask him how much he wants next week. I'm just scared that 1 TB is just a bit too little. Is the 10600k better than the 11400?
