You asked the right question at the right time XD

i was just archiving my old games around christmas...

even the first one is there, it came with the first PC in our house that could "game" XD

Midtown Madness 2

soon to be followed by Anno 1602 for 5€ at a local supermarket

and then brand new Anno 1503, where my dad bought the Add-On (nowadays DLC XD) and we couldn`t get it to work for days until we realised we needed the basegame too...

others are Red Baron 3D, Civ III, Big Oil, the Settlers 2 and Alien Nations (JoWood Game)

tried some of the games, but Windows 10 doesnt like them... (seems like some 16bit stuff hidden in there)

Should have kept Win7 around on at least one PC, because i didnt notice any not working on 7.

Then i bought Empire: Total War in a Store only to find a Letter inside the box with a Steam Key.

After discovering Steam Sales i didnt buy more than 10 games as physical copys... (only at big discounts or games that you no matter what couldnt get digital)

biggest difference, i really played all games i own physical copys of. cant say that about my steam library 😞

15 years or older is my definition of 'oldschool'... But what I consider 'retro' Doom 1993, Xcom the original, There's more but I'm not going to type them all out. 'Classic' I don't have very many 'Classic'.
