I’m not sure what I need to upgrade next for my pc i’m playing at 1440p and would like to go to 1080p 144hz here soon so I wanna get higher fps. I mainly play rust and other smaller games that don’t require much performance but i normally get around 80 fps on high settings on rust.
I have:
Ryzen 5 2600 overclocked to 3.9ghz water cooled with a 240mm cooler mast m240l
nvidia gigabyte 8gb wind force 1070
B450 gigabyte mb
16gb g skill rampage 2933mhz
silicon power 256gb m.2
1tb toshiba hard drive
generic rgb fans from amazon
If i’m missing anything let me know but i’m having no problems with load times and my cpu is staying around 35 degrees at full load but isn’t stable in game when i overclock anymore I can push ram farther but it causes my games to lag sometimes. I’m pretty new to over clocking so i haven’t messed with timings or much with my gpu but i got it pushed a couple hundred mhz past for mem and core clock but i forget what i had it to.

Ok thank you i kinda hate the gigabyte bios rn anyways absolute shit for overclocking aurous isn’t to bad but the regular gigabyte interface is stupid. My cpu isn’t even really going past 75% usuage in games right now so i think my graphics card is my bottle neck will i still see any performance gains if i upgrade my cpu?
