Budget (including currency): $2700

Country: USA

Games, programs or workloads that it will be used for: Rust, Minecraft, Fall Guys, Rainbow Six Siege.

Other details (existing parts lists, whether any peripherals are needed, what you're upgrading from, when you're going to buy, what resolution and refresh rate you want to play at, etc): I'm planning on making this after new parts drop for PC (want to get parts for cheaper). This will be my first PC so any suggestions help!

This is a current list I have, I was wondering if anyone had suggestions. Only thing I don't want to change is 680X Case.

Honestly this is totally fine for 2021. The only thing i would consider is a different GPU if you can find one. For $850 it's really hard to justify a RX 5500 XT. However It will run those listed games with out any problems.

one idea is get the i5-10600K for $20 more and run onboard graphics while you try to get a card.

Swap out the monitor for this one.
https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B08JWCHR5N?tag=rtings-mn-r-20&ie=UTF8

Linked is an RTings comparision between it and the one you selected.
https://www.rtings.com/monitor/tools/compare/msi-optix-mag271cqr-vs-gigabyte-m27q/928/19668?usage=9091&threshold=0.1

I would then put that saved $ towards a high end wireless mouse. I like Logi and Razer's recent mice, but it's all personal preference.

The Corsair fans aren't especially good in terms of acoustics or performance, especially for the price. Look up a bunch of graphs and find a better/cheaper set and maybe put those savings towards a second monitor. (Try to get a secondary monitor that is also 1440p to avoid Windows scaling issues)

If not, here's my recommendation:

(Your Mobo, case, and GPU are extremely overpriced). Not going to comment on your accessories but I'd change out the keeb, monitor, and mouse most likely

You can't get a card like that for that money. Your comments are valid but well you have to be reasonable too and let op buy their system this year still.

Brok3n's parts list is great, obviously the GPU's aren't in stock, but a used 10X0 card would be better than a new 5500 XT. Pair that with everything else in his list, grab the monitor I linked, and you should be all set. R6 especially loves Ryzen. Far better frametimes in game.

Camping bestbuy you can do a whole lot. Even just having a youtube tab open with a stock bot can help you get a card. The other day I basically checked bestbuy at random and nearly got a card, I didn't because I was late to the party. If you use say the fixit fixit fixit yt channel, you can get notified and get in queue for a bestbuy drop within 30 seconds even if you're not camping. If you know how to get a card and use the right resources it's not very hard.

Still basically based on luck. So op would first need to get a gpu before anything else as well the whole system won't work without anyways.

You tip the scales as much as you can in your favor. Imo some things in life are worth waiting for, ampere cards included. If OP doesn't share my ideology they're welcome to purchase a different GPU.

Okay. I just made a 12.2k intel and nvidia build. Hopefully it's got components that u were looking for. I know a lot of people would've gone with an AMD Threadripper put I'm personally an Intel guy. Everything should be able to fit in the case since it is a full atx case. Also, you would still have to get an SLI connection to connect the 2 GPUs but that doesn't seem to be available on PC Part Picker. I would recommend using NVLink for this. Here is the build info from PC Part Picker:

Your stated use for this doesn't equal the budget you gave. A simple $800-$1500 build would perform the function you are asking for.

Are you truly looking to spend this much on a build? or setting this budget as you dont know what to expect for pricing?

Also, you have 2 other active topics asking for help with a new build.

We do not allow topics on Fantasy builds. We also don't allow multiple topics of discussion a the same new build, please keep topics to one thread.

Please choose one topic to keep active and I will lock the others.

The power supply seems a little generic, I think I would go with a FOCUS GX850, or Prime I'm not sure what the difference is. Either way, 650 - 850 watts is a great choice. For a cooler, I don't like the looks of those style of coolers, but also I think the cooler used PCPP's enthusiast AMD build performs better. Your choice, but I would go with the cooler PCPP chose. On the CPU most people say the 3600 is better than the one you have, because of it's best value. On this one actually I wouldn't care, but I might actually go with a 3700X. For the motherboard, you might already have the best that fits in your budget, but my filter would be: known brands, good reviews, still in budget (obviously), and has a bunch of upgrade compatibility features. Now, last one I believe. I can't look for it because I'm stuck on mobile rn, and I don't really do a lot of things on mobile. But I would look for a monitor from Asus (probably TUF), 1440p 144Hz, IPS panel type, your choice of size. Bound to be one out there.

Lemme know if this helps.
