Games, programs or workloads that it will be used for: unreal engine 4/unity , all sorts of games(subnautica, csgo, overwatch) , cad.

Other details (existing parts lists, whether any peripherals are needed, what you're upgrading from, when you're going to buy, what resolution and refresh rate you want to play at, etc): im building my pc and im wondering if i use an intel cpu with integraded graphics, and buy a gpu afterwards, can i just put it in or what do i need to do?

If you just get the Intel CPU theres no extra step to take to utilize integrated graphics, and later you can just stick a GPU in with no extra steps, just make sure that your PSU has the connectors you would need for the GPU then.
