Thats a bit to high. Very close to thermal shut down temp of 95c. You likely don't have enough air flow through the chassis.

There is not much airflow near the CPU which may be causing the high temps. I am going to test temps with out the chasse cover

my 2600x has peaked before at 97C momentarily with the stock cooler, apart from decreased performance, the 90-95C isnt something to be sweating bullets about
