Most powerful graphics card for Ryzen 5 2400G

GAME 55

What is the most powerful graphics card I can pair with the 2400G without a CPU bottleneck?

I prefer a CPU bottleneck to a GPU bottleneck though, so if there is a graphics card that is a little more powerful than the CPU can handle, no problem!

Also, what power supply should I get with this graphics card? (PC Specs below in this post)

-PC Specs:

Motherboard: ASUS EX-A310M-GAMING

CPU: AMD Ryzen 5 2400G

GPU: AMD Vega 11 Graphics

RAM: Kingston HyperX Fury 1x8GB 3200MHz

Storage: Western Digital Caviar Blue 1TB 7200RPM WD10EZEX Hard Drive

Case: Mercury Rigel

Power Supply: Explosive "300W" Power Supply (I am sorry, I will replace it once I have enough money)

Edit: Added Storage to the PC Specs

Get an extra  stick of memory for dual channel before considering a graphics card. This can already help the iGPU

I was considering buying another 8GB stick with the graphics card and the power supply.

The reason is:

I wanted to get them last year because in most games, my RAM is full, my iGPU is pinned at 100% while my CPU is just chilling lol. I couldn't get them last year in my holiday (June 2020 - July 2020) because of COVID, and I can't buy anything until this holiday again, sooo yeah... (I can't buy anything until it is holiday, and I can travel to my hometown)

It's a long story.

Also, one more question if you don't mind.

Do I have to find another Kingstone HyperX Fury 8GB 3200MHz stick, or just any 8GB DDR4-3200MHz stick?

Edit: More information

Yes, you need to find the exact same memory stick that you are using now. Even getting a different timing could give you stability issues with your system.

I know I'm not the original person that replied to you but I thought I would try and help.

Gaming Desktop - AMD Ryzen 7 5800X, MSI MPG B550 Gaming Plus, 32GB Cosair Vengenace LP 3600mhz, EVGA RTX 3070 XC3 Ultra,  Sabrent Rocket 4 1TB NVME SSD, WD Blue SN570 NVME SSD, 4TB Mass storage, EVGA 750W G2, Corsair 270R

I will have to find another one then.

No problem at all! Thanks for you help!

Hopefully 1660, 1660S, 1660Ti, RX 5600XT or 5700. Otherwise you might need to look for slower or older stuff.

If you're adding stick(s) to a different memory channel, my experience is brand doesnt matter. For example, adding 1 stick to an existing stick on dual channel platform. Just make sure the primary timings and frequency are the same.

If you're adding sticks to already occupied memory channels (for example, adding two on top of existing two), then brand mismatch still doesnt matter because even two of the same 2 sticks kit can be unstable when used together.

First replace this for a decent unit before adding a gpu.

So, 2x 2 Stick Kits from the same brand and with the same clock don't work with each other? Even if they got the same timing?

So, not even an RTX 2060? I was going to pair it with an RTX 3060 (once available).

It is good that I asked here before buying.

Thank you so much for you help!

They will work but stability of the XMP profile is not guaranteed and often, isnt stable. You will have to run them slower at that point.

You'll just get massive CPU bottleneck beyond 1660S (which includes 5600XT and 2060), I only mentioned the AMD GPUs because those are typically cheaper than equivalent Nvidia GPUs.. 2400G is only a quad core Zen CPU after all, it's no better than an i7-6700k at stock and will be left in the dust when both are overclocked.
