Weird freezing issue when saving files

When I try to save a file and open the „save as“ window and then click on „desktop“ on the bar to the left my pc freezes for 1-5mins. But if I select any other location or even the desktop folder and not the option on the left bar it works all fine. This happens in all programs.

 

I tried reinstalling windows thrice on two different drives, updated my ryzen x570 chipset drivers for my 3600x, windows and bios. I even tried my ram sticks seperatly. Nothing seems to work and it‘s such an annoying issue when trying to work.
