1. Budget & Location

My budget is around $2500-$3000 USD. I am willing to go out of the price range for performance increases. My only part that I can not and will not change is my GPU as I have gotten lucky enough to purchase a EVGA GEFORCE RTX 3070 XC3

2. Aim

I am building this computer for College Work, Working from home retail job, as well as gaming. For gaming the games I am into are Call of Duty franchise, Madden franchise, GTA V, Fall Guys, Apex Legends, and RuneScape. I also plan on broadening my horizon on games after I get this built as I am switching from only ever having a console and  laptop.

3. Monitors

I plan on using 2 monitors maybe 3 later on. I have already purchased a Samsung 27" CRG5 240hz Monitor. I plan on purchasing another, but also I am open to suggestions on a different monitor as well, would like to stay at 240Hz area.

4. Peripherals

I have purchased the Razer Huntsman Elite keyboard, Corsair Dark Core RGB PRO SE mouse, and Logitech G560 sound system. Closing in on not being able to return most of these, criticism is welcome on what should have been purchased for a potential switch later on.

5. Why are you upgrading?

I have wanted to build my own PC for about 2 years now and following various PC. I am tired of staring at my 3070 box and am ready to throw down the cheddar to get this PC built.

Well that build looks ok, but if i was building it for myself, i would change 2 things.

First the memory. Going X mobo and 5900X would've gone straight for the 4000MHz dimms. Call me naive, but i trust AMD about making the 1:1:1 infinity fabric work properly, as they advertised it at 2000MHz for better performance. Either that or get some sweet CL14 sticks at lower frequency.

The other is a proper monitor. RTX 3070, flagship CPU and Full HD monitor?!? There are some really sweet 1440p 144HZ monitors out there right now, even some widescreen ones for basically the same price as that Samsung. The thing about curved displays is, it's not for everybody. You better go somewhere and try it first for more than 5 minutes and make sure it's your cup of tea. And also 240HZ. I'm not sure that 3070 is gonna be able to sustain 240FPS in many titles, even at 1080p.

| Ryzen 7 5800X3D | Arctic Liquid Freezer II 360 Rev 7| AsRock X570 Steel Legend |

| 4x16GB G.Skill Trident Z Neo 4000MHz CL16 | Sapphire Nitro+ RX 6900 XT | Seasonic Focus GX-1000|

| 512GB A-Data XPG Spectrix S40G RGB | 2TB A-Data SX8200 Pro| Phanteks Eclipse G500A |
