Well I don't really know 😕 I just want to upgrade it so my pc doesnt become old and could run good games 😄

Ok,

Well let's break this down:

Getting a new GPU, in the current market, is impossible unless you like getting ripped off.

RAM is fine

RAM slots are only 2, so that's maxed out

What is your storage like?

So both are solid state?

What do you use for backing up your important data?

Well I just use these 2, Main one for important data i guess and the SSD for games. I got 142GB left on the SSD and 42GB left on the Main one

I'm sure you are aware but if an SSD goes bad, data recovery is impossible.

So if you want to upgrade a bit, I'd look into a standard HDD spinning drive for data backup.

HDD spinning drive? so you mean if my ssd will go bad the data will still be in HDD?

Correct, you can set up an automated backup from the SSD to the HDD, so if the SSD fails, then you still have your data on the HDD.

Note: Only backup user-created data, programs would have to be re-installed anyway, so no real point in backing them up.

This will at least give you a safety net.

Otherwise, we can talk about how the temps are in your system, and airflow and whatnot.

What program do you monitor your CPU and GPU temps with?

FurMark, Core Temp and i guess MSI Afterbruner

Ok, CoreTemp is nice as it sits resident and watches the CPU.

I use GPUTemp to watch the GPU temps, also sits resident

AIDA64 can monitor the mobo temps, but it's got a LOT of options, so a bit of a learning curve.

On the other hand, you can do neat things like this with it:

yipl9v738m551.jpg

That's an inexpensive 7" Raspberry Pi panel, customized to show temps of the system.

I just picked one of these up and have been making my own panels through AIDA64. It's a lot of fun.

Well to be honest, I'm not really a gamer, so in that regards I'm not the person to ask. I'd venture your system is pretty good for that as it stands, lacking the mic, perhaps a second screen, and a way to record your games being played (which can be done through something like this: https://www.elgato.com/en/game-capture-hd60-s )

There will be others to come along I'm sure, you are much more knowledgeable about streaming games, who will help you better than I could.

Are you currently running single or twin monitors?

I think its Radeon RX 580 Series if i'm checking it right

The RX580 is going to be very outdated soon, especially because it's memory is GDDR5, and all modern GPUs are on G6 memory. I'd recommend upgrading GPU to a RTX 2060-RTX 2060 super. If u can, upgrade CPU-mobo combo to a i5-10400 or i5-10500 and a Asus or Asrock b460 motherboard. If u do Cpu upgrade, upgrade to a 3060, 3060 ti, or 3070.

Gaming PC:

CPU- Intel Core i5-10400 (planning to upgrade when Alder Lake releases)

CPU Cooler- be quiet! Dark Rock Slim up to 180W TDP

Motherboard- Asus ROG Strix B460-h Gaming

Memory- Corsair Dominator Platinum DDR4-3000 CL15 memory

Storage- Crucial P2 1TB M.2-NVME SSD up to 2400 MB/s

Video Card- MSI Ventus 2x Geforce RTX 3060 Ti OC

PC Chassis- Cooler Master TD500 MESH ARGB with Controller

Power Supply- EVGA 650w P2 (planning to upgrade to EVGA 80+ Gold 1k watts)

Rear Fan- Touchaqua Bitspower Notos RGB fan

Monitor- Acer EI272UR 2560x1440 144hz 4ms Radeon Freesync monitor

Keyboard- Logitech G810 Orion Spectrum

Mouse- Logitech G203 Lightsync (planning to upgrade to g502 HERO)

Controller- Xbox One Wireless Controller - Red

LaptopProcessor- Ryzen 7 4700U (8c/8t up to 4.1Ghz) with Radeon graphics, 16GB DDR4-3200 memory, 512 NVME SSD

He shouldn't upgrade as of now, wait for 8-9 months if he doesn't currently encounter problems in games.

Now is the absolute worst time to upgrade.

I have to disagree on the CPU upgrade, not worth it,save the money and wait for 12th gen since making the upgrade to a 10400f so includes a new motherboard for what is pretty much a small upgrade.

If it is that, you might a rtx 3070 because it is cheap starting at only $499.99, idk what price it would be at where u live, but yea. if not that, you can get a rx 5700xt, idk what price that would be either where you live too 🙂

Agreed. Gpus are insanely hard to get right now, and for a horrible price.
