Specs:

R5 3600

RTX 2080 TI MSI Gaming X Trio

32GB Trident Z RGB 3200Mhz

850W Gold+ Modular PSU

Monitor:

BenQ EX3203R

The monitor is HDR certified not using it tho.

So when i turn on my PC i have this weird colour shift. Everything is to bright and u cant really read anything. I have to go into the windows settings and turn on HDR then turn it off again so the colurs work again.

It all started after i did some updates. Windows Nvidia.

I dont want to do this forever. I tried reinstalling the Nvidia drivers. Played around in the monitor settings etc. I didnt try to reinstall Win cause i dont want to :D. I played around for a while now and didnt find anything.

Another Problem i have but thats 100% windows related if i use my PC for too long I cant watch youtube anymore cause suddenly high ethernet data usage whole PC lags etc. And thats on a fresh install of windows.

The first problem is windows and its shit hdr implementation.

I know that much. I had this Problem with a RX5700XT before but never with nvidia.

if that issue is only with it on, and goes away when its off, just wait for new windows/driver updates, and have it off for now.

If you check Nvidia's forums there are a lot of reports of this behaviour with the latest drivers, either downgrade the drivers or wait for an update to address the issue.
