I have an gtx 1650 4gb and i had an 768p monitor but now i got a new one 1080p and i wanna use both but my graphics card only has a hdmi and displayport but both monitor only have hdmi so i bought an displayport to hdmi adapter

There are many of those, because DVI had like 6 standards, perhaps you bought the wrong adapter.

I was talking to a friend and he told me that never hdmi and display port conections on the same card will work

because one is digital and the other one is analog our something like that im not really sure if that is true but if u have any ideas what could be i  would be apreciated

I use DVI to HDMI connectors all the time, work fine, provided you get the right one.

They are both digital connections. Only analog is VGA, and you don't use that.

No, they are both digital.

Silly question. Did you download the graphics driver and reboot? Or did you just only plug the monitors in?
