Dual GPU Setup

Go to solution Solved by Electronics Wizardy,

Whats your full system specs? You can probably use your igpu if you have one.

You can use any 2 gpus to add monitors. Id get something like a 710 or 1030 here.

So I'm currently trying to think about setting up 2 extra monitors to my setup. I currently have 4 and my GPU has run out of power to hold more monitors. I was told that I could possibly have a dual graphics card setup and then I would be able to add my 2 extra monitors, but the problem I'm running into is that I'd like to buy a new GPU but not the same as what I already have currently due to the high price. Is there anyone who would be able to help me in figuring out what makes two GPU's compatible and what would be compatible with my GPU. The graphics card that I currently have is a Asus GeForce GTX 1060 6GB DUAL Video Card.

My PC specs are:

Intel i7-9700KF

GTX 1060 6GB DUAL Video Card

16gb RAM

MAG Z390 TOMAHAWK Motherboard

3TB Storage

500GB SSD

600W Corsair Power Supply

My CPU does not have an internal GPU. Would you still recommend the same GPU's like the 710 or 1030?

yea the 710 and 1030 will work good for your uses. Amd cards like the 550 will work fine too. Just get whatever is cheap with 2 outputs.
