Anyone wanna move in? :D

Very confused now, how do you get a ping of 0

Even pinging your own gateway gives a >0 result, may be only 1ms but still >0

I suppose you could be pinging yourself and rounding, but pinging yourself (or a server IN your own network) surely won't measure your true Ping time(s)

I think you could ping a machine a few feet away on your own LAN in under 1ms but not an exchange.

After a minor ponder

I THINK what has happened is he has used that Ookla speedtest without specifying which server to use.  It has picked a server on his own LAN so the reported speeds are across his LAN NOT the internet per se . A Gigabit LAN perchance?

If you don't select one it assigns one for you (nearest) as far as I know that already exists within its database.

Could be wrong, but I'm sure they must have thought of that issue.

It looks like Google Fiber, but it isn't?

Google isn't the only Gigabit ISP. There are tons out there who just aren't very popular

My ISP offers Gigabit to businesses. Ever heard of Mediacom's Gigabit connections? Probably not

Speeds between here and the 'Gyle head end' of my ISP.

Pretty poor upload but support swears blind that it will be improved.

Oh look another squadron of pigs

The computers are connected straight to the server in the room 20 feet away, so that's probably why :D

Hope I could help!
