Could use some help from you guys with a little more knowledge than me! I got a new WD Blue 1TB SSD drive today. Now I have a 3rd SATA port on my motherboard but my graphics card is so damn big I don't think I would actually be able to plug a 3rd drive in. My computer came with a 225GB WD Green SSD. Should I just replace the Green drive for the Blue and how would I go about doing that and transferring windows and my data from the Green drive to the Blue since I can't use my 3rd SATA port? Could I just unplug my 1TB regular hard drive since I just have games from steam on that while I install the new SSD and transfer the data over? Or should I just say screw it take it back and get a NVMe SSD drive? I have Gigabyte GA-AX370M-DS3H motherboard. What NVMe SSD would you recommend if I go that route?

There are right angle sata cables , so you could use one  in that connector. Example cables:

Amazon.com: Cable Matters 3-Pack 90 Degree Right Angle SATA III 6.0 Gbps SATA Cable (SATA 3 Cable) Black - 18 Inches: Computers & Accessories

Amazon.com: Relper-Lineso 6 Pack 90 Degree Right-Angle SATA III Cable 6.0 Gbps with Locking Latch 18Inch (6X Sata Cable Blue): Computers & Accessories

Amazon.com: BENFEI SATA Cable III, 3 Pack SATA Cable III 6Gbps 90 Degree Right Angle with Locking Latch 18 Inch for SATA HDD, SSD, CD Driver, CD Writer - Black: Industrial & Scientific

Where each drive is plugged doesn't matter, you can put a drive in any sata port.

But anyway, it seems like you have a total of 4 (FOUR) sata ports, 3 all the way in the corner, and one (the fourth) in the video card path.

You can clone your windows installation and all the contents from your boot drive to the new drive using a free tool like macrium reflect or other programs... jayz two cents did a video recently, see video below

If you want to install windows from scratch on your new SSD, I actually recommend people to disconnect other drives, just to be sure they're not accidentally installing Windows on other drive. You can always add them later.

Steam stuff can be moved between drives, just create a steam library on the new drive and then select your games and there's option to move game to other library (the other drive)

You can use an L shaped sata cable.

I recommend you to clone the 256 to 1tb ssd.

You should use the fastest drive as your boot drive.

Ryzen 5700g @ 4.4ghz all cores | Asrock B550M Steel Legend | 3060 | 2x 16gb Micron E 2666 @ 4200mhz cl16 | 500gb WD SN750 | 12 TB HDD | Deepcool Gammax 400 w/ 2 delta 4000rpm push pull | Antec Neo Eco Zen 500w

@mariushm Ya I might actually be able to get one of those L shaped SATA on lone SATA port towards the top of my GPU. The top one of the 3 in the bottom corner there is no way I could get a cable connected to that one with my GPU. It pretty much covers both of those SATA ports but I might be able to use the lone one above the 3.

I don't know I think i'm just gonna go with https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B07M64QXMN/ref=ox_sc_act_title_1?smid=ATVPDKIKX0DER&psc=1

It's the same price as the other SSD with the SATA cables. I won't need to the SATA cables and will be a lot less hassle to hook it up. I can just plug it right in and screw it down. I won't have to take my graphics card out and won't have to worry about messing with all the damn cables. Plus I would have to buy the tray the SSD sit and screws into so it would probably cost me more overall and more of a hassle. What do you guys think?
