I have a Zen2 AMD Ryzen 7 3700X and my motherboard just this month got a BIOS update for Zen2 SAM support. I’ve heard that Nvidia is releasing or has released SAM support with AMD CPUs and wondering if it’s safe to turn on SAM with me having a 3700X and a RTX 2060?

It doesn't really "do" anything... So yeah. Turn it on/off w/e you want to do.

Now if you installed a big ass Tesla card, this feature may come in handy.

I believe resizable bar support was intended to make the miners happy so they can use their tesla cards in a gaming rig vs a server in which the card typically belongs in.

Turing doesn't support SAM (which is just a marketing name for Resizeable-BAR).

Will Turing ever get Resizeable-BAR? Probably not. This is nvidia we're talking about after all.
