ssd and hard drive question

Go to solution Solved by C2dan88,

Those files come in the visual C runtime library which should get installed by apps that require them or windows update automatically.

Try (re)installing the visual C 2019 runtime library (both x86 and x64 versions) from here

Also run sfc /scannow too

Egs you chose the install location When you click on the game you download.

Just hit browse.

For mc don't worry, it's like 500mb with heavy modding.

I could use some help with this!

please, pm me if you would like to contribute to my gpu bios database (includes overclocking bios, stock bios, and upgrades to gpus via modding)

EGS asks where to install for each game

Minecraft you can either edit the profile used by the launcher, click installations edit existing profile (or create new one) change game directory to path on hdd.

Alternative is to symlink %appdata%/.minecraft folder to some place on hdd

-> Moved to PC Gaming

All launchers, and most if not all other software allow you to select download location. Be it for single file or all files.

System32 and sysWOW64 are the actual Windows system folders. They are hidden by default so non-techie folks don't and be stupid with them. Rather than try some manual ways to fix things, use repair install, reinstall and verify files options.
