Blue screen 0x8080000000000000?

DominicNikon

Hello, I recently installed a new waterblock on my graphics card and I've been receiving a blue screen. Nothing is overclocked and it is a clean install of windows 10. I'm assuming it is probebly something with hardware since I installed the new block but I don't know for sure. It happens when the system is underload playing a game for example. I looked the code up but it gave software fixes so it can also be software based. Does anyone have any ideas on what to do?

Thank you

Did you make sure to have good application of paste and the thermal pads? Could be that its instantly overheating though i don't know why that would be. That sucks really but it sounds like it has to be thermal if its happening under load, what are idle temps?

The idle temperatures are 28c for the gpu, 38c for the cpu. Max tempatures before it blue screens Is gpu 45c, cpu 52c. The blue screen only lasts for about a second. It's extremely short compared to a blue screen because of a cpu or ram instability

Did you check your mem junction max temp and your hot spot max temp? Might conclude what is happening.

Use HWINFO to monitor these temps and see what you end up finding out cause idk i can't see why you'd be having such a strange issue.

Welp that is def not concluding what is wrong then.. Hm the Distributed COM errors are typical and everyone nearly has them but a BSOD is very weird.

Have you tried doing system file repairs? Like /sfc scannow

Try doing system integrity checks and you might end up solving the issue with those if it finds errors. Command Prompt admin mode and type /sfc scannow

Try doing it in safe mode now and do it again and make sure to enable safe mode with networking and go to command prompt [admin] and type /sfc scannow and after that finishes also do this. DISM /Online /Cleanup-Image /RestoreHealth <~ and then you should be all repaired.

You simply put that exactly as written into the command prompt

It just blue screened with the same error code again. I still can't see it being hardware since it's not the normal error code for a hardware issue and this is a new install of windows 10 so I don't know what could be wrong software side since we fixed the currupted files
