Hi!

Recently ive been getting some issues with my games not using my dGPU (1650m) and using my integrated Vega 8 graphics which is making the games bottleneck and my computer slow down. I have a 2nd display plugged in via HDMI, also i have forced my games both on windows and the nvidia control panel to use my 1650m but it doesnt work. Someone said to me on reddit that my dGPU isnt getting any power/very little. Does anyone know how to fix this and if so what other details i need to provide so you can assist me further?

Thanks!
Kian

Does unplugging the second monitor fix it, and is the program on the second monitor running in full screen?

Fuck you scalpers, fuck you scammers, fuck all of you jerks that charge way too much to tech-illiterate people.

Unless I say I am speaking from experience or can confirm my expertise, assume it is an educated guess.

Current setup: Ryzen 5 3600, MSI MPG B550, 2x8GB DDR4-3200, RX 5600 XT (+120 core, +320 Mem), 1TB WD SN550, 1TB Team MP33, 2TB Seagate Barracuda Compute, 500GB Samsung 860 Evo, Corsair 4000D Airflow, 650W 80+ Gold. Razer peripherals.

Also have a Alienware Alpha R1: i3-4170T, GTX 860M (≈ a 750 Ti). 2x4GB DDR3L-1600, Crucial MX500

You can go to Windows Settings->System->Display->Graphics Settings, select the program that you want to assign a GPU to and then select the 1650M as the high performance GPU. Maybe that does the trick.

already tried that, still doesnt work
