High gpu usage

I got my pc a few months ago around Christmas and all until recently I started to have a couple problems. For some reason my gpu and cpu usage has skyrocketed everytime I play a game and i don't think I've done anything to my pc. I have a 1660ti and 10700f with no overclocks and before I use to average around 40% gpu usage on Minecraft but now It's stays around 70% when i haven't changed any of my in game settings. I dont have any other processes running. I this happened right after I updated my drivers but I dont see why that would slow down my pc, can anyone help?

Could've possibly gotten a virus or something that's mining with your system
