Phone apps keep crashing

Hello my dads phone has started to malfunction aka. apps crashing and UI glitches. For the apps I have tried to clear the chace,clear data and reinstall. I also tried rebooting the phone. Nothing worked... Is the phone near its end or is there a fix? Help needed ASAP, my dad owns a buisness so he needs the phone badly. The phone is Huawei Y6 2017.

The phone itself is probably not dying, but the software or firmware may have gotten really messed up for some reason. I would suggest backing up all the data you can to the cloud or a PC, and factory resetting the device/reinstalling android in full may fix this issue. After that either consider your phone dead or get a second opinion. Not a phone expert, you should definitely trust someone other than me if they can confirm their expertise.

Apparently there's currently an issue with the "Android System WebView" app. It basically started malfunctioning because of an update.
You can try to update that and that should fix the issue, if its the reason for your crashes.

Yes, roll back the webview app.  Google royally forked up, thought I had a virus this morning ffs.  

Clearing cache was useless, rolled back the webview and presto back to normal.
