What VPN to use?

l11h

Hi,

i've been looking online and found that people recommend using a VPN for security as it's encrypted i think. If I am wrong with this then please correct me as to what an actual use of a VPN is.

I've used a free VPN Hotspot shield but the problem with that is that it will only use US VPN services and it slows my connection down drastically, it takes years just to load up a youtube vid lol.

I dont care if the VPN is in UK which is where i'm located as i dont really use sites that are specifically for a certain country.

I was wandering do you know any good VPN's (dont mind paying for them), that are trust worthy and offer a good service?

I've been looking around but there are too many to choose from and some sites dont look trust worthy for paying for the service.

ty for all ur help :)

It's probably the most secure and fastest VPN you can get at the moment in my opinion, I've used it for a good year at one point and it never failed on me.

Yeezus was the best album of all time

Don't use Hidemyass they keep logs of everything you do on the service. i would use privateinternetaccess.com or if you need a dedi IP try nvpn.com.

Install a pointless Antivirus to have all your data go through to there servers so they can monitor all your sites and info and remove any thy want. No thanks!

Some guy got busted trying to hide his BitTorrent activity with Hidemyass. Give it a wide berth.

Some guy viewing child porn got done over by the FBI glad he got arrested but that just shows how freely they give it out.

I really like PIA, the 2 servers closed to me only increase my ping by ~4ms. I even game on VPN now.

I'm a little bit confused about what this has to do with my post.

Is not illegal to use BitTorrent to download music, movies, etc. Just that I don't watch child porn, don't have that fetiche. I used it  4 or 5 times jut to try it out

You seem to be very confused about the definition of "steal." I don't know where you learnt English, but, where I come from, to steal is to remove something from another's possession. BitTorrent clients are used for sharing, not the removal of content from others' possession.

And yet a very recent study (http://torrentfreak.com/0-more-on-content-than-honest-consumers-130510/) suggests that the worst "pirates" spend 300% more on content than "honest" consumers.

It was another guy who claimed it's not illegal. I made no such claim, nor would I. It is illegal, regardless of whether it should be.

Rent a cheap VPS in a country close to you. (HTTPZoom have really cheap ones in the UK.) and configure OpenVPN yourself. It will be much cheaper and more secure than any other VPN service.
