When going to sleep my PC will not wake up. It throws a 00 qcode and with that the case button power work doesnt along with the motherboard reset. All I can do is hit the PSU switch. The solution ive applied so far is simply disabling sleep. However im still not comfortable with that gremlin in my system. I read that clearing CMOS is a good start. What is the proper way to go about that? The motherboard has a button for it on the back. When should I push that button? Desktop? Bios? Powered off? My manual sadly doesnt say.

64gb Gskill 3,600mhz with AMD's version of "XMP" enabled. I cant recall the proper acronym. ( DACP, DAPC something like that ) But this 00 issue was present before doing such.

Hoping clearing CMOS does the trick and its not a dying mobo/cpu like what some google results suggest. >.>

Sounds like a bios thing to me.  Could be a windows thing.

Not a pro, not even very good.  I’m just old and have time currently.  Assuming I know a lot about computers can be a mistake.

Who knows?  Might solve it.
