Hey all, looking to pick some brains and product knowledge for a potential new headset purchase. For some perspective on my situation, I'm still using Razer Carcharias from 2009. Whether from a wiring issue or the internals, the left side has started being intermittent so I'm investigating a replacement for when they finally kick the bucket or my tax refund comes in.

Given my current headset, I'm not looking for anything groundbreakingly different.

My main requirements this time around are:

- Wireless, with 3.5mm jack option for when it's low/dead.
- Nothing gaudy looking.

- Would like to keep it under $200.

Any help would be appreciated.

there isnt really anything wireless and decent in the $100 price range IMO your best off buying a cooler master mh 751/752 and calling it a day. but if you can stretch the budget a bit the hyper x cloud 2 wireless isn't too far away

I've heard good things about the Anker Soundcore Q20s. If active noise cancelling is your thing, of course.

Main PC:

AMD Ryzen 7 5800X • Noctua NH-D15 • MSI MAG B550 Tomahawk • 2x8GB G.skill Trident Z Neo 3600MHz CL16 • MSI VENTUS 3X GeForce RTX 3070 OC • Samsung 970 Evo 1TB • Samsung 860 Evo 1TB • Cosair iCUE 465X RGB • Corsair RMx 750W (White)

Peripherals/Other:

ASUS VG27AQ • G PRO K/DA • G502 Hero K/DA • G733 K/DA • G840 K/DA • Oculus Quest 2 • Nintendo Switch (Rev. 2)

Laptop (Dell XPS 13):

Intel Core i7-1195G7 • Intel Iris Xe Graphics • 16GB LPDDR4x 4267MHz • 512GB M.2 PCIe NVMe SSD • 13.4" OLED 3.5K InfinityEdge Display (3456x2160, 400nit, touch).

Got any questions about my system or peripherals? Feel free to tag me (@bellabichon) and I'll be happy to give you my two cents.

PSA: Posting a PCPartPicker list with no explanation isn't helpful for first-time builders :)

Not strict on $100 or anything like that. Just don't need/want most of the features in the $200+ range.

So more in the $100-200 that's a respectable pick. The Carcharias were nothing really to write home about even when they came out, and they've lasted me going on 12 years with acceptable sound and performance. So something in a similar vein, but wireless is essentially what I'm after.

I've amended the price requirement in the original post.

Hoping to get an actual headset; not a deal breaker though and will keep an open mind regarding other headphone options.
