Left my computer running with a web page open for a day or two. When I came back my computer displays were saying no signal, tried restarting and still nothing then seen I was getting q code 55. Tried re-seating my ram then restarted but this time I get q code CC for  about 30 seconds then it switches to code 55. I have had my computer for several years with no problems so I don't think re seating the cpu should do anything as Its been undisturbed? I tried putting the ram in different slots and only using one of the two ram sticks still same problem, also tried clearing CMOS.  I have Asus Maximus hero Ix motherboard and g skill trident z ram 3866mhz.

That's what code 55 means according to your manual:

Do you have another kit of memory you could try?

Maybe also try reseating your CPU.

If someone did not use reason to reach their conclusion in the first place, you cannot use reason to convince them otherwise.

I don't have another memory kit to try. I did look up the code in my manual and did re seat the ram. Do you really think it's possible for the ram to just crap out like that?

I mean i have never had that happen to me and the probability is very low. But it's possible.
