CPU: Intel I7-920 (@2666Ghz)

GPU: Radeon R9 290x

RAM: 12Gb DDR 3 @ 1066Mhz

I am taking from my old build is: Keyboard, Mouse, Mic, SSD and a HDD, Monitor (2560x1440@60Hertz), Also i will take the GPU for now until prices are becoming more affordable.

I am planning to start buying components within the next 3 weeks.

Depending on prices and possible overtime at work, i am considering getting another monitor too. (Either 120/144Hrtz @ 1080p / 1440p)

Warning! Some AMD X570 chipset motherboards may need a BIOS update prior to using Vermeer CPUs. Upgrading the BIOS may require a different CPU that is supported by older BIOS revisions.

 

Known Issues for me:

Most of my knowledge (which is limited) is back from 2008. ^_^

I am struggling on which motherboard to pick, I'm looking for a good, solid board that preferably is not overloaded with stuff i won't use.

Does the CPU stock cooler hold up under (mostly) gaming workloads?

To what degree does it RAM speeds, timings matter in real life scenarios?

Do not get a 2666MHz kit for the love of god, Ryzen CPUs infinity fabric(a modern version of a north bridge) is directly connected to RAM speed you should get a 3600MHz CL16 kit or something...

Added a cooler, should be good enough to keep the CPU cool under high loads.

Switched board to a cheaper but still good option, so that way it fits in your budget.

Added much better RAM.

Same SSD.

Added more storage just in case.

Changed casing to a cheaper but still decent option. Very good airflow.

Same PSU. (Ironically, this PSU is cheaper than an RM850)

The R5 5600X is the better choice for gaming than the R7 3700X.

 

Case comes with two fans, but you can add 1 or 2 extra if need be.

Is this an issue that is resolved but the warning still stays?

That warning worries me a little about the purchase of that CPU and Motherboard combination.

A lot of boards will be Ryzen 5000 ready, but if not then a lot also have bios flashback, so you can update without a cpu installed. The B550-A PRO has this feature.
