I have a DELL Inspiron 17R-7720 but whenever I try to boot it up it won't show anything but the cursor. I've tried opening task manager with ctrl+shift+esc, but it won't work, i've tried doing sticky keys but it wouldn't work either. I don't know what's wrong with it and when I tried using repair tool it showed the screen fine, but it couldn't find anything wrong with the computer.

Do you have a second PC and spare USB stick? Make a bootable Ubuntu drive and see if that boots up to GUI fine, this can help rule out hardware failure. Once it's booted can you access the hard drive in the laptop and is it healthy in disk management? That can help diagnose a failing or failed hard drive.
