Help different card sli

What if i accidentally put a 560 ti in sli with 550ti? They kinda look the same... i have a 560 ti ref i think and a 560 ti thats from msi what happens if the ref is a550 ti and i sli?

If you plug in the both cards, both will be recognised by Nvidia's software, and by Windows. Nothing 'bad' will happen like them blowing up or anything.

You just won't be able to enable SLI functionality. That's all. You can use the cards separately for things like GPU acceleration in BOINC and Folding@Home.

SLI will be unable to be turned on. That's it.
