Welcome!

Which fans are ramping up (CPU, GPU, or case fans)? From what you describe it sounds like the GPU driver is crashing.

If the driver is crashing, you can always hit these 4 keys to reset the Gpu driver sub system.

Win + Ctrl + Shift + B

Excuse me, what?!?! Has this always been a thing? That seems like a very useful hotkey.

Try different drivers maybe. If Geforce experience is installed, remove that.

Keep an eye on Gpu temps and v-core.

Stuff like that maybe.

Use DDU (https://www.guru3d.com/files-details/display-driver-uninstaller-download.html) to totally remove the drivers and then do a clean install of the latest from Nvidia. Ditch Geforce Experience if you're using it.
