Trying to understand if I'd have compatibility issues for an Intel i9xe build with an x299 wu8 gigabyte motherboard, motherboard is ceb form factor (can live with as the difference is about 2.3cm in thickness as far as I can tell.

But this is the first time using a ceb.

Will be running an rtx 3090 with future expansion to sli

2tb SSD AIC pcie 4.0 (realising I'll be using 3.0 on the mb)

Does anyone have any advice or Sim build I can have a look at?

Any advice or support would be greatly appreciated.

https://www.techpowerup.com/review/corsair-5000d-airflow/

This says it supports E-ATX up to 305 x 277 mm

https://www.gigabyte.com/Motherboard/X299-WU8-rev-10/sp#sp

This says "CEB Form Factor; 30.5cm x 26.7cm" so 305 x 267mm, meaning it should fit inside
