2080ti broken?

1045666

No display on boot. Fans on gpu start to spin slightly then stop.

Tested a different psu vga cable, different socket on the psu, tested in another pc and got the same issue.

Tested a different card and it booted fine.

It's not new and was working fine for a few months, and a few hours ago. Took my pc apart to change fans and now it's being weird. I don't recall any poor handling when removing it, didn't drop it or anything crazy.

Yup, just got a 3080 upgrade. 😉 Anywhere from 2x to 4x more fps depending on resolution.

What model 2080 ti is it? send it in for repair with the manufacturer. Most manufacturers just need the serial number.

I WILL find your ITX build thread, and I WILL recommend the SIlverstone Sugo SG13B

Primary PC:

i7 8086k - EVGA Z370 Classified K - G.Skill Trident Z RGB - WD SN750 - Jedi Order Titan Xp - Hyper 212 Black (with RGB Riing flair) - EVGA G3 650W - dual booting Windows 10 and Linux - Black and green theme, Razer brainwashed me.

Draws 400 watts under max load, for reference.

How many watts do I needATX 3.0 & PCIe 5.0 spec, PSU misconceptions, protections explainedgroup reg is bad

I thought depending on the company, warranties are not transferable?

It does depend on company, and it also depends on product, but many companies (MSI, asus, EVGA off the top of my head) only require the serial number for GPU service.

Although it also varies based on country too.

Learned something new today. I always thought they required proof of purchase for warranty repair, otherwise it's OOP.

Definitely for sure depending on the regulations in various countries. Have to check the warranty page with the proper region, although even then it's semi-stupid (MSI for example, voids warranty if that sticker is removed in the US, but federal law prohibits those stickers and voids them outright).

I can look into warranty stuff later. I did buy it used.

In the meantime I need to work since it's also a computer I use for business. Is there a way to operate a PC remotely without a graphics card, from a computer that does have a graphics card?
