No HDMI Audio

Hello everyone,

 

I had some issues with my graphics card so i reinstalled my driver and that fixed it. But since then i have another issue: my HDMI audio output stopped working. I already looked in device manager and it`s nowhere to be found. I already tried activating show deactivated devices but it won´t show up that way either. I don´t know what to do anymore and i would really appreciate if someone here would be able to help me. Sorry for any weird phrasing or spelling mistakes i´m not a native speaker and my english isn´t all that good.

Use DDU (Display Driver Uninstaller) to remove the driver and then reinstall it.

Thats what i did when i unistalled the driver.

I am guessing it worked before? Did you try unplugging the HDMI cable?

Yeah, it worked perfectly fine before. I already tried unplugging the HDMI cable i also power cycled both the PC and the monitor. Still nothing.
