EVGA 2070 Super XC black screens fans at full speed.

VelvetAssassin

My card has been working without issue for over a year.  A few days ago the GPU began crashing. My monitors will black out the RGB LEDs will tun off and the fan will ramp up to 100%. The system is still running, I can still hear the audio when this happens. I can still chat live with friends while this is happening. I have many things on the software side. Reinstalling drivers. Scanning for malware. Updating windows. I have even reseeded the card. Still the same result. Sometimes five hours of gaming no problem sometimes 30 mins. I believe it may be a hardware issue. To note I upgraded from a 2700x to a 5800x in December. I have not had any issues until now. Thank you for your time.

re seat the gpu and the output cable if that doesent work see if you still have your warrenty but first try a diffrent gpu in it to make sure its not the motherboard or put your gpu in a diffrent slot and see if that fixes it leading to the possible conclusion that your pcie slot is damaged
