Raspberry Pi Access Point Acting Strange

Hi. Today I followed this guide on how to set up a pi as an access point with the intention of just connecting to the pi from my computer over ssh/vnc an so forth. I used my MacBook over VNC to set it up and had a victorious moment when I finished and my MacBook connected to it. However neither my Desktop(Kinda the reason I want this to work) Nor my phone are able to connect. I can see the network and enter password and such but when I try to connect it trys for about a minute then fails. Anyone have any idea?

 

Update : cant connect over ethernet either
